IMAGE NATION – a new photo installation in Truckee featuring images by VETS – is discussed

... by Sue Duerksen of Truckee Public Arts Commission who joins me by phone from Truckee.  “Image Nation” features Nevada County veterans and comes to the Truckee Community Recreation Center w a reception March 10.  “Image Nation” is an initiative of the Nevada County Arts Council in partnership with Welcome Home Vets, funded in part by the California Arts Council and local contributions.  The photographs – self portraits and pictures of veterans’ hands, are the result of a therapeutic workshop with veteran and master photographer Michael Llewellyn.  The exhibition last until mid-June.

Lake Tahoe Community College defers decision regarding theatre arts department
